Blackroom - Control EP

Blackroom (formely known as Lorraine) released their new EP 'Control' which featuring two new tracks The Jam & Sharks and different mixes of Control itself.

The Jam - is beautiful fast instrumental track on which Anders, who playing guitar in the band, made really great job! It sounds very nostalgic and romantic for me + a little desperate. But awesome!

Another new one is 'Sharks' - awesome peaceful song with incredible lyrics. It's very simple and it's the main thing in 'Sharks'. It reminds me of 'Confetti' - simply beautiful and at the same time powerful song.

Saxophone (or trumpet, or..?) on extended version of Control is probably by singer Ole Gundersen, who made amazing work with this instrument on such tracks like 'Ghosts', 'I'll Never Give You Up' is very comfort and pretty. Paal, who play keyboards + electronic is always up for new great tunes, which will be in your head for a long time!
So it is always holiday to hear something new and so good from one of my favourite band!

A few words about Patrick Wolf...

In March 2011 I visited Russia for an amazing gigs by english genius Patrick Wolf. He's releasing fifth album called 'Lepercalia' this june, so stay tuned with patrickwolf.com ! The gigs was absolutely great. At the end of Moscow show the fans presented him russian national musical instrument gusli and he was so happy about this, that even played old song from his first album on it! I got set list after St. Petersburg concert + autograph on it. Some of my photos...
